Japps graduated from King's College London in 2011. He grew up in Middlesex but has since moved to Essex.
Having completed a variety of associate positions at a number of different practices, Japps has become experienced in all aspects of dentistry. He has a devoted following of patients who were previously too nervous to have dental treatment, but are now at ease under his care.
Japps divides his time between practising dentistry in Essex and in Buckinghamshire. He is also an Educational Supervisor for the NHS Oxford deanery where he trains, teaches and assesses newly qualified dentists over a 12 month period each year.
In his spare time Japps is a keen photographer, videographer, and traveller. His photos can be viewed on his Instagram:

Dr. Rajiv Patel (Raj)

Raj studied dentistry at King's College London. Following graduation in 2011 and enjoying a year in general practice he further expanded his skills to pursue his interest in aesthetic dentistry, providing a range of cosmetic treatments including veneers, crowns, bridges as well as all aspects of general dentistry.
As a keen footballer, Raj played for the King's College London 1st team and continues playing competitive football in his spare time. He enjoys watching Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and boxing.

Gosia completed her dental training in 2004, graduating from Medical University Warsaw. She moved to the UK from Poland and has been working as an NHS dentist since 2007.
Dr. Nihar Patel

Implant Surgeon
Nihar graduated from Queen Mary's and the Royal London in 2011 with distinction.
After completing a vocational training year he achieved a post-graduate qualification of MFDS with the Royal College of Surgeons. He has also completed a 3 year long diploma in implantology at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute.
Nihar is an experienced implant surgeon and carries out all aspects of implant dentistry. He is able to use implants to replace teeth, to stablise dentures and is also able to perform sinus lift procedures where implants would otherwise be impossible.
Holly Owen

Dental Therapist
Holly graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2012 with a first class honours degree in dental hygiene and dental therapy. She was awarded with a prize for outstanding achievement from the British Dental Association.
In her time practising as a dental hygienist and therapist Holly has worked in a range of settings including specialist practice and she is the current lead of an innovative oral health promotion scheme in Hackney, London.
As a dental hygienist Holly works with patients to improve their oral health through treatment and education, she works well with nervous patients and enjoys building their confidence.
In her home life Holly has a baby daughter born in August 2018 and enjoys cooking and travelling.
Vicki Barringer

Dental Nurse
Vicki began working at the practice in 2010 and gained her nursing qualifications in 2012. She is also a qualified implant surgery nurse and particularly enjoys working on these procedures.
Vicki is a keen runner and participates in weekly Park Run in Burnham. She has also completed in 10kms, half-marathons and obstacle races.
Dawn Ellingford

Dental Nurse
Dawn has worked in dentistry over 25 years. She came to this practice in 1988. Dawn has developed a very strong working relationship with many of the patients and staff over the years.
Dawn keeps up-to-date with her professional development. She is still keen to develop her skills and knowledge to assist the dentists and staff members she works with. This enables her to ensure customer care and satisfaction.
You can always expect the warmest welcome and a quick catch-up on all the happenings in Burnham with Dawn.
Aimee Rose

Dental Nurse
Aimee started out as an apprentice at Serenity and quickly progressed to complete her exams and become a fully qualified dental nurse.
She has been working at Serenity for over 2 years now and helps out with our implant cases in addition to her regular nursing duties.
Not content with just a full time role in a busy practice, Aimee also finds time to run her nails and beauty business. You can check out her incredible handiwork here:

Martika Alkins

Dental Hygienist
Martika started out her career in dentistry as a dental nurse, back in 2013. She completed work in an orthodontic practice giving her the opportunity to work with children.
After taking a year out to travel she returned to the profession working in a private practice where oral surgery and implant work was carried out. At this time she also completed her sedation course.
Martika then studied at the University of Essex in 2020 for her degree in Oral Health Science which she completed with distinction.
As a hygienist at Serenity she enjoys building rapport with patients to help encourage and educate them to improve their oral health.
