Japps graduated from King's College London in 2011. He grew up in Middlesex but has since moved to Essex.
Having completed a variety of associate positions at a number of different practices, Japps has become experienced in all aspects of dentistry, including Invisalign, Composite Bonding, and Implants. He has a devoted following of patients who were previously too nervous to have dental treatment, but are now at ease under his care.
Japps divides his time between practising dentistry in Essex and in Buckinghamshire. He is also an Educational Supervisor for the NHS Oxford deanery where he trains, teaches and assesses newly qualified dentists over a 12 month period each year.

Dr. Rajiv Patel (Raj)

Raj studied dentistry at King's College London. Following graduation in 2011 and enjoying a year in general practice he further expanded his skills to pursue his interest in aesthetic dentistry, providing a range of cosmetic treatments including veneers, crowns, bridges as well as all aspects of general dentistry.
As a keen footballer, Raj played for the King's College London 1st team and continues playing competitive football in his spare time. He enjoys watching Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and boxing. He has also got himself caught up in the latest racket sports craze- Padel.

Associate Dentist
Dr Fariha Kausar graduated with first class honours from the University of Medical and Health Sciences , Ras al Khaimah, UAE. She has been short listed as Dental Student of the Year for Future of Dentistry during the first year.
Fariha has worked in a number of private and NHS practices throughout East London and South East Essex as placements and more recently as a dentist associate. Fariha offers a broad range of treatments to reflect the patient’s needs, from professional mechanical plaque removal to non-surgical periodontal treatment, restorative, dentures, and crown bridge work. She has special interest in composite bonding, and smile make overs. She has recently finished primary care diploma in dentistry from royal college of surgeons Ireland. She has done post graduate diplomas in restorative dentistry from prestigious ,Tipton dentist academy. She has also completed post graduate diplomas in facial aesthetics.
Fariha prides herself in providing a bespoke treatment that meets the holistic needs of patients whilst motivating them to improve their oral health through an improved understanding of how oral health is linked to their general well-being.
Outside of dentistry fariha enjoys running, walking, trying to learn swimming, keeping fit through HIT and making different types of omelettes.
Kate Brown

Facial Aesthetics
Kate began her career in dentistry as a dental nurse, qualifying in 2003. She later joined the University of Essex and gained her qualification as a dental hygienist. More recently, Kate has completed her training in facial aesthetics with the British Aesthetic Academy.
Kate's areas of expertise lie in treating gum disease, and the maintenance of good oral health. She can also provide cosmetic treatments such as whitening, air polishing, and facial aesthetics (botulinum toxin and fillers).

Dental Nurse
Torie originally lived in Burnham as an infant, and then left to pursue a career in London. She is now glad to be back in her home town.
Torie began her career as a trainee dental nurse in Basildon in 2015, qualified in 2016 and progressed to a Private Practice in Romford where she gained further qualifications and experience in sedation, oral surgery, orthodontics and implantology. She also enjoyed cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
Torie has had rewarding work with Witham Community Dental Services, whilst working as a locum agency nurse for a year, and enjoyed assisting patients in their own homes and care centres.
Now having returned to her roots since 2019, Torie has shared her experience and taken on new challenges with us as Assistant Manager.
In her spare time Torie likes to spend time with her family and hike the local countryside. She also loves to spend time driving her recently renovated retro motor home, and take this to music festivals

Head Dental Nurse
Vicki began working at the practice in 2010 and gained her nursing qualifications in 2012. She is also a qualified implant surgery nurse and particularly enjoys working on these procedures.
Vicki is a keen runner and participates in weekly Park Run in Burnham. She has also completed in 10kms, half-marathons and obstacle races.

Dental Nurse
Dawn has worked in dentistry over 30 years. She came to this practice in 1988. Dawn has developed a very strong working relationship with many of the patients and staff over the years.
Dawn keeps up-to-date with her professional development. She is still keen to develop her skills and knowledge to assist the dentists and staff members she works with. This enables her to ensure customer care and satisfaction.
You can always expect the warmest welcome and a quick catch-up on all the happenings in Burnham with Dawn.

Tracey is originally from Hornchurch but moved to the Dengie area 9 years ago.
Tracey has spent the majority of her career working in education, as a Secretary/P.A, and then as an Office Manager at two Independent Schools.
Tracey joined Serenity in 2019. She is committed to offering excellent customer service, putting patients at ease, and making their visit a positive experience.
Tracey loves living in the countryside; and spending her spare time with her family and friends. She also enjoys going to the theatre and live music events.

Teresa joined the reception team in April 2024 and prides herself on providing good customer service. She has the ability to remain calm in any situation.
She loves the countryside and in her spare time can often be found enjoying long walks by the river, cycling, and riding her horse.
Tracey Bebbington

Tracey has lived in The Dengie for 23 years and worked in a variety of roles in and around Burnham. She loves to spend her free time walking her dog, socialising with friends and, when she gets the chance, watching Burnham Ramblers. She prides herself on good customer care with a cheery approachable nature.
